Our Leadership Team

Steve Norwood is an accomplished executive and leader of technical software and services organizations. He specializes in building successful companies while achieving aggressive revenue goals. For the last 27 years, Norwood has worked exclusively with early-stage companies to not only define their market and target customers but also to solidify their operations and processes. He accomplishes this while building a team that maximizes revenue growth.

His most recent role as Chairman of the Board and founder of Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems Inc. (CARS), founded in 2005, Norwood has built a successful software as a service (SaaS) company for lenders attempting to simplify the traditionally paper-based repossession and remarketing industries. With explosive growth CARS ranked 185 on the Inc 500 fastest growing companies for 2010. Fueled by an extensive background in streamlining the procurement process for financial services and aerospace companies, Norwood founded CARS as a full-service Internet portal to manage the repossession and remarketing process electronically. Customers consist of both prime and subprime lenders who assign cases to more than 1,000 certified repossession and skip agents. Through the CARS web portal called IBEAM (Internet Bases Electronic Asset Management), lenders have access to real-time updates and tracking on all their repossession and remarketing cases. This allows them to complete the process more efficiently, resulting in savings that range from 40 to 60 percent over the traditional paper-based process.

Prior to founding Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems, Norwood held several positions for the following companies: Riversand Technologies, specializing in product information management; eScout, building a team to deliver on-demand SRM solutions to the market; and Requisite Technology, recruiting and training a successful sales organization in catalog and content management for the e-commerce market. Norwood received his bachelor’s degree in business from Appalachian State University.

Jennifer Turnage is an experienced executive and entrepreneur, with nine years of service on the executive team of Primeritus and its subsidiaries. She has served as the full-time and fractional CFO of numerous investor and private-equity backed companies. These companies include Atrium Campus, Librestream, Spoonflower (acquired by Shutterfly), Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems (acquired by Greenridge Investment Partners then Primeritus Financial Services), Digitalsmiths (acquired by TiVO), StrikeIron (acquired by Informatica), ChannelAdvisor (ECOM) and AutionRover (acquired by GoTo.com).

Jennifer’s other executive roles include Co-Founder and CEO of myBeeHyve, Vice President and General Manager, International of ChannelAdvisor; Founder and Managing Partner of TechCXO RTP. She also served in the audit and consulting practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jennifer received her BSBA in Accounting & Finance from Western Carolina University.

Wes Pollard is an experienced finance execute who joined the Primeritus team in December of 2022.

He has approximately thirty years of accounting and finance experience, half of which is at the CFO level including private, venture backed, and publicly traded companies. These companies including Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (acquired by Philips Electronics), Issuer Direct Corp (NYSE: ISDR), kSep Systems (acquired by Sartorious, Inc), and MobileGuard (acquired by Smarsh, Inc.) amongst others.

Wes has also served as the Managing Partner of TechCXO RTP and served in the audit and consulting practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Wes has been recognized twice as the CFO of the year by the Triangle Business Journal in RTP.

Wes received his BSBA in Business Management and Economics from North Carolina State University and his Masters of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Misty Carson joined Primeritus in July of 2023 and she brings more than two decades of senior sales leadership in AR Management / Asset Recoveries as well as Business Process Outsourcing. Misty is a tenured sales executive with a proven track record of success in generating new business growth and building excellent client relationships with auto finance lenders, banks, and credit unions.

Misty enjoys participating in community service events, running and fitness classes. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University.

Jim Wilmsen is an experienced and accomplished leader of technology organizations with an outstanding history of successful development, deployment, and IP creation. Jim has held senior leadership positions in companies ranging from ground floor startups to multi-billion dollar public companies. Jim joined Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems, Inc. (CARS) when it was founded in 2005 as a senior technology leader. At Primeritus Jim is responsible for Product and Technology including IBEAM (Internet Based Electronic Asset Management), the industry’s first SaaS offering for asset management.

Jim has twenty technology patents and he obtained a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Colorado.
